Pennsea uses the rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that comes with the product to provide heat. 

The warmth is created by special carbon fiber threads in specific heating areas, and you can easily adjust it using the button with two settings.

No, the product use 5V or 7.4V, which are low voltages. To get electric shock the voltage needs to be minimum 60V, so you cannot get electric shock by using Pennsea.

Each purchase includes a charger and a rechargeable battery. 

For more battery time you can purchase an extra battery for your Pennsea bottoms.

Once the battery is down to about 5% power it will turn off automatically. However, do not store a completely dead battery for too long – recharge it within 2 weeks after it’s fully empty.

Due to a safety feature in the battery that is used to monitor it, the battery will stop working if all the power runs out.

The best way to treat a lithium-ion battery is to make sure to charge it all the way up and use it until it’s almost empty for the first several times you use it.

Yes. The product is washable in a laundry bag using a gentle 30OC cycle. 

But do remember to take out the battery and ensure the cord is well tucked into the pocket, closed and zipped. Afterward, let it air dry.

Well yes, it’s possible, but only if used incorrectly.

The bottoms fit snugly and can get hot on the highest setting used for too long. If you feel any discomfort like a tingling or picking sensation, it’s important to lower the heat right away.
